Batam is developing its wellness tourism offering with the opening of Sidjih Wellness Village at Batam View Beach Resort in Nongsa. The facility officially held its grand opening on 19 September 2026, adding a dedicated wellness experience to Batam’s tourism portfolio.
Sidjih Wellness Village features seven treatment rooms, including two rooms equipped with jacuzzis and specialised suites, set within landscaped gardens. Its programmes go beyond conventional spa treatments, incorporating healthy meals, traditional herbal remedies, yoga, sound healing and massage.
The wellness concept is designed around longer stays, with four- to five-day programmes available. Visitors can also combine wellness activities with Batam sightseeing and shopping, creating a broader leisure itinerary.
